Even though our models
enjoy modeling, traveling and all the attention of being a LATINAS inc.com
model; the one area most important on the LATINAS inc.com website to our
models is the "Making a Difference in our World" page. This
page will be with out a doubt our most important. Since we shoot about
70% of our photography on beaches we have chosen to make saving our Oceans
a top priority. Our second priority will be raising money
to get photographic equipment to deserving high school
students in our Latino communities that are without Photography
departments in their schools. Since photography is the core of our existence
we find photography, the powerful medium that it is, should not be reserved
for only the affluent communities. Review our Special

Objectives
- Create
an awareness for Latinos here in the U.S. and in B.C. Mexico that
our
Oceans are important and cannot be misused. We are currently speaking
to officials in Rosarito B.C. Mexico to create an ad campaign that
will
educate Mexicanos to throw their trash in trash bins and not on the
beaches of Baja. We hope that awareness will lead to questions asked,
when questions are asked answers are found. Many Latinos who litter,
whether in the U.S. or in Mexico are simply ignorant (not knowing)
of
the effects littering has on our Oceans. In addition, we plan to begin
an annual tradition of cleaning a local Southern California beach
with
the help of our LATINAS inc.com models, concerned Latinas, celebrities
and children from Latino communities in L.A. & Orange Counties.
This tradition will start on Saturday July 7, 2003. Everyone is
welcomed

- Raise
money with corporate sponsors and celebrities to provide photographic
equipment to students who would like to enter the world of photography.
These students will be awarded a PC's, scanners, color printers and
digital cameras. The schools most often left out are low income communities
where Latinos are the predominate race. Photography
is a great medium and high school students from our Latino communities
should be exposed to this powerful medium. Many Careers have begun just
by having photography as a hobby. The Latino community will desperately
need photographers in the next twenty years and with so many new Latino
businesses starting; photography will always be a key ingredient in
marketing & advertising. The money raised will go to deserving high
school students in our Latino communities who would love to enter the
field of photography but have no photography programs offered in their
schools or the financial means to enter the field of photography. Qualifying

Our planned fund
raising events are: softball & basketball games and golf, billiard
and tennis tournaments. At each event we will present deserving Latino
students with photographic equipment that will help them get stated
in the field of photography. All
student entries will be reviewed by our "Honorary
Board of Directors".
